Bare AAC

Bare AAC conductors are primarily used in overhead power transmission and distribution systems. Made entirely of twisted aluminum wires, they offer excellent mechanical flexibility and electrical conductivity. Our AAC conductors comply with BS, ASTM, DIN, IEC, CSA, NFC, AS/NZS, JIS, and GOST standards.

AAC conductors are composed entirely of aluminum, using stranded aluminum wires to enhance mechanical flexibility and conductivity. Although aluminum is not as conductive as copper, it provides satisfactory electrical conductivity suitable for various transmission and distribution applications. The low density of aluminum results in a lighter conductor compared to copper alternatives, facilitating easier installation and handling. Additionally, aluminum's inherent resistance to atmospheric corrosion makes AAC conductors well-suited for outdoor applications where environmental exposure is a concern. The conductors are typically stranded to increase flexibility and reduce the risk of breakage under mechanical stress.
