Cold Resistant Cable

Cold resistant cables are specifically designed to withstand extreme cold temperatures while maintaining their electrical performance and mechanical integrity. These cables are commonly used in environments where temperatures drop below freezing, such as cold storage facilities, outdoor installations in polar regions, and refrigerated warehouses. They are engineered with materials that can withstand low temperatures without becoming brittle or losing their flexibility, ensuring reliable operation even in harsh winter conditions.

Our cold resistant cables are widely used in environments and industries where exposure to low temperatures is a concern. They are essential for power distribution and lighting in cold storage facilities, outdoor installations, and polar regions. These cables support infrastructure development, telecommunications, and industrial operations in extremely cold climates. Additionally, they connect motors and equipment in refrigeration units and are used in construction projects in cold climates for temporary power supply and heating systems.

They are engineered to remain flexible at temperatures as low as -30℃, -40℃, and -50℃. They are constructed with materials that resist brittleness and cracking, ensuring durability and mechanical integrity in harsh conditions. These cables maintain optimal electrical conductivity and insulation properties at low temperatures, preventing voltage drops and electrical faults. Their outer sheath protects against moisture, snow, and ice, making them suitable for outdoor use in cold climates. Manufactured to international standards and rigorously tested, cold resistant cables enhance safety by minimizing the risk of electrical hazards in cold environments.

Construction

● Conductor: Stranded copper or aluminum
● Insulation:  Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) for excellent electrical insulation.
Sheath: Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) provides protection and durability.
Armor (if applicable): Some cold resistant cables are armored with steel wire or tape for additional mechanical protection, especially in outdoor or industrial settings.

Additional Features

● Fillers: Used to improve cable roundness and mechanical stability.
● Tapes:  Semi-conductive or insulating tapes may be applied to enhance electrical performance.
