    Concentric Cable

Concentric Cables are crucial components for electric service entrances and street lighting systems in both residential and commercial applications. These cables are specifically designed for use in electric service entrances, facilitating the connection between power distribution networks and meter panels, and are also employed by Distribution Network Operators to link electrical networks and towers to residential or commercial properties.

Our Concentric Cables are designed with a focus on reliability and safety, meeting rigorous international standards. They are suitable for deployment in both dry and wet environments, making them versatile for various applications. These cables support high-bandwidth communications over long distances without the need for repeaters, and feature robust insulation to prevent electrical hazards. Additionally, they come in a range of sizes and types to meet the specific requirements of different installations and applications.

    Construction

    ● Conductor: Made from high-quality copper, aluminum, or aluminum alloy, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity and mechanical strength.
    ● Insulation:  Utilizes materials such as PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene), and PE (Polyethylene) to ensure electrical safety and durability.
Sheathing: Applied with PVC, XLPE, or PE to provide mechanical protection.
Armoring: For certain industrial applications, cables may include XLPE Insulated and Plain Annealed Solid Strand Bare Copper Earth Conductors for additional mechanical protection.

    Standard

    ASTM B800

    1. Title: ASTM B800 - 05(R2015) Standard Specification for 8000 Series Aluminum Alloy Wire for Electrical Purposes-Annealed and Intermediate Tempers.
    2. Scope: ASTM B800 is the American Society for Testing and Materials, covering 8000 series aluminum alloys fabricated into round wires in annealed or intermediate tempers suitable for stranding into conductors or for solid single conductors, usually to be insulated.

    ASTM B801

    1. Title: ASTM B801 - 07(R2012) Standard Specification for Concentric-Lay-Stranded Conductors of 8000 Series Aluminum Alloy for Subsequent Covering or Insulation.
    2. Scope: ASTM B801 is the American Society for Testing and Materials, covering aluminum alloys in the 8000 series cited in B800 in tempers "0" and H1X or H2Xbare compact-round, compressed and conventional concentric-lay- stranded conductors made from round or shaped wires used as covered or insulated electrical conductors. These conductors shall be composed of a central core surrounded by one or more compacted, compressed or conventional layers of helically applied wires.

    ASTM D2655

    1. Title: ASTM D2655 - 12 Standard Specification for Crosslinked Polyethylene Insulation for Wire and Cable Rated 0 to 2000 V.
    2. Scope: ASTM D2655 is the American Society for Testing and Materials covering a crosslinked polyethylene insulation for electrical wires and cables in conductor sizes 14 AWG [2.08 mm2] and larger. The base polymer of this insulation consists substantially of polyethylene or a polyeth-ylene copolymer. This type of insulation is suitable for continuous use on power cables in wet and dry locations, for voltage ratings not exceeding 2000 V and at conductor temperatures not exceeding 90°C for normal operation.

    BS 7870

    1. Title: Distribution cables for low voltage networks: Cables with extruded insulation for use in low voltage networks.
    2. Scope: BS 7870, issued by the British Standards Institution (BSI), specifies the construction, dimensions, and test requirements for low voltage distribution cables with extruded insulation. These cables are used in various applications within low voltage networks, ensuring safe and reliable power distribution for residential, commercial, and industrial installations. The standard covers various cable types and configurations designed to meet specific performance and safety criteria.
